📚 Shop with Finney’s Books
Finney’s Books Romance Bookstore will host an onsite pop-up filled with romance reads. Come early to browse, discover a new-to-you author, and add another happily-ever-after to your TBR.
🍕 Eat, drink, and mingle at Pinthouse
Pinthouse Brewing is our lovely venue host for the evening. Food and drinks will be available for individual purchase, so arrive early to order, find a table, and settle in before bingo begins at 7 p.m.

Bring an adult friend, spouse, or book bestie. The more, the merrier!
Coming solo? You’re absolutely welcome. Many guests attend their first KAR event alone, and we’ll provide name tags to make meeting fellow romance readers a little easier. You’ll be in very good company and in good hands.

❓Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be part of Keep Austin Romantic to attend?
Nope! Any romance reader age 18 or older is welcome. You don’t need to be a member, know anyone, or have attended a KAR event before.
Can I bring a friend, spouse, or book bestie?
Absolutely. The more, the merrier!
Every attendee needs a reservation, but Luma’s group-registration option allows you to register everyone together.
Can I attend by myself?
Absolutely. Many guests attend their first KAR event solo. We provide name tags and opportunities to connect, so you don’t need to arrive already knowing someone.
Is this an adults-only event?
Yes. This event is for guests 18 and older. KAR discussions may include explicit content and mature themes.
Please arrange childcare whenever possible. If bringing a child is unavoidable, they must remain supervised, independently occupied, and outside hearing distance of conversations. Children cannot participate in bingo or prize drawings.
Is the event free?
Yes! Our featured author partners make this free community event possible.
Food, drinks, and books from the Finney’s pop-up are available for individual purchase and are not included with your reservation.

Should I arrive early?
Yes. We recommend arriving early to shop with Finney’s, order food and drinks, find a table, and settle in. Bingo begins at 7 p.m.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available in the Pinthouse parking lot.
