Our panel event is designed to create space for a practical and interactive conversation. We’re bringing together perspectives from investment, compliance and entrepreneurship to explore how AI is shaping sustainability outcomes - both the opportunities it presents and the risks that need careful navigation - from social to environmental.
We'll examine how AI is influencing companies’ decision-making, reshaping responsible investment, and ultimately affecting the sustainable finance ecosystem - considering impacts from the labor market to data centres' energy consumption.
We hope this conversation helps provide some clarity: highlighting where AI feels genuinely promising, where uncertainty still exists, and how, collectively, we can play a role in steering this technology toward more equitable, responsible, and sustainable outcomes.

Luda Svystunova - Head of Social Research, Social Stewardship, Human Rights and Responsible AI, Amundi.
Her work focuses on how investors can assess companies’ management of risks to people, particularly in complex areas where regulation, technology, supply chains and stakeholder expectations are evolving quickly. Luda has developed social research frameworks used across large listed-equity portfolios, including approaches to human rights due diligence, responsible AI, workforce issues, forced labour risk and the social dimensions of climate transition. She is in the Steering Committee of the World Benchmarking Alliance's Ethical AI Collective Impact Coalition and holds a PhD in Strategy and International Management from the University of Bath.
Maxine Setiawan - Associate Manager, Global Responsible AI, Accenture.
Maxine Setiawan is a Responsible AI practitioner at Accenture, where she leads UK technology work on operationalising Responsible AI across delivery teams and client programmes. She helps organisations move from high-level AI principles to practical implementation, embedding guardrails, governance, risk controls, and ethical considerations across the software development lifecycle, from design and development through to deployment and monitoring. Her background spans Responsible AI, AI risk, sustainability, spatial analytics, computer vision, urban planning, and data science for social good, underpinned by her studies in the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford.
Jade Batstone - Founder and CEO, Zendo
Jade Batstone is the co-founder and CEO of Zendo, the Energy OS for data centres. Zendo gives operators an intelligent operating layer to manage energy and optimise capacity, helping them get more value from every watt and take on more GPU workloads sustainably at a time when demand for compute is far outpacing supply.
Her background spans fintech and enterprise software. Originally from Silicon Valley, Jade was an early employee at payments unicorn Square, leading product strategy for its UK expansion. She went on to head product innovation at SWIFT, then led strategy at SoftBank-backed AI scale-up Andela. This path across fast-scaling, high-stakes technology businesses shapes her approach at Zendo: building digital infrastructure for an industry facing unprecedented demand from AI.
