VTW 2026 Climate Tech Day: Green Drinks Gala at the Union Club
Green Drinks Victoria is the gala centerpiece of Victoria Tech Week.
Last year, 250 people made it the highest-attended event of the entire week. Founders comparing notes with the people who fund them. Engineers and policy staff finishing conversations that started at a site visit that morning. Researchers, builders, operators, and the occasional person who just heard the room was good.
This year we take it to the Union Club of British Columbia, one of the oldest private members' clubs in Canada. Most people never get past the front door. On September 23, the door is open.
Entry is free. Your first two drinks are covered by our partners. If you want to put something in, an optional $20 supporter ticket sends the full amount to a local charity.
Green Drinks Victoria runs every third Thursday at Swans Brewpub and has grown into the sustainability gathering on Vancouver Island. The gala is the once-a-year version. Same spirit, bigger room, better suits optional.
