The Illinois Innovation Voucher Program is entering its third year in 2026, launching a new year of research partnerships and innovation opportunities. This gathering highlights the program’s impact across Illinois and brings together the small and medium-sized businesses, university partners, and innovation leaders driving that work forward.

From 5:00–7:00 PM, attendees will learn how the Voucher Program supports collaborative R&D, hear what is ahead for upcoming funding opportunities, and connect directly with others across the state’s innovation ecosystem.

Whether you are new to the program or a returning participant, this event offers a clear look at how the Voucher Program creates real outcomes for SMEs and how you can engage in the next phase.

About the Illinois Innovation Voucher Program

Powered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition (ISTC), the Illinois Innovation Voucher Program supports Illinois-based small and medium-sized businesses by funding collaborative research and development projects with Illinois universities and research institutions. Vouchers can cover up to 75 percent of eligible project costs, not to exceed $75,000, helping companies advance new technologies, accelerate product development, and strengthen university-industry partnerships statewide.
