Ceramic Trinket Dish + Underglaze Workshop

In this ceramic trinket dish + underglaze workshop, you'll get to build your very own one-of-a-kind lidded dish using the slab building technique. We'll take a quick lunch break while our pieces dry, and gather back together to paint our pieces with underglaze. Checkout inspo images of things possible during our time here !!
We'll cover all the basics of slab building techniques, providing all materials and templates for you to create a stunning first trinket dish<3 It will be playful and communal and oh so very hands on, we can't wait to create with you!
Notes!
-Choose between brown speckled or white clay
-Final pieces will can be up to 5x5x5in
-Pieces will be glazed, fired and shipped to you by our team within 6 weeks of the workshop date
-Beverages provided, but please bring your own lunch, or plan to grab something nearby!
Morning Block: 10-1: Designing and building
Break: 1-2 Lunch + Pieces Dry
Afternoon Block: 2-3: Underglaze painting time

Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!
