BurnBot Napa Valley Wildfire Mitigation Demonstration
Join BurnBot for a live wildfire mitigation demonstration in Napa County showcasing our Mechanized Fuels Crew (MFC) and RX2 technology and team in action.
This field demonstration will take place at the La Fe Vineyard, right across the street from the Circle R Ranch & Vineyard in the Atlas Peak area, and will highlight practical strategies for reducing wildfire risk across vineyards, estates, and forested properties in the wildland–urban interface (WUI). The event will run approximately two hours (10:00 AM start – 12:00 PM end) and is designed to be hands-on and accessible for Napa landowners, vintners, winery operators, Fire Safe Councils, public officials, agency partners, and community leaders.
The day will begin with an RX2 demonstration focused on showcasing a nearly smokeless approach to prescribed fire, allowing landowners and agencies to conduct fuels treatments while minimizing smoke impacts - like smoke taint and toxicity.
The program will then transition into an MFC demonstration operating our various advanced equipment and machinery, like our remote-controlled masticators, in terrain and fire fuel types typical throughout Napa County, highlighting how MFCs can effectively work in difficult terrain while treating dense hazardous vegetation and complex WUI landscapes.
During the demo, the BurnBot team will walk through how fuel treatments are planned and executed, how our precise, fast, and cost-effective approach differs from conventional vegetation management methods, and how these tools can scale into larger projects that protect homes, vineyards, evacuation routes, and critical infrastructure across Napa’s working landscapes.
Building wildfire resilience across Napa Valley is ultimately a collaborative effort, and we’re excited to bring the broader Napa community together to spend the day sharing ideas, demonstrating tools, and continuing the conversation about how we can work together to protect the region’s landscapes and communities.
