About Event

Interested or already building in Neurotech/Wearables and looking for a Co-Founder?

Pillar VC is bringing together aspiring founders and early builders at our new office in Kings Cross, London. Come meet your future co-founder, early team members or founder friends!

This event is for you if you are building and interested in:

  • Models for quantitive monitoring of biomechanics

  • New tools to enable us to interface, at scale, with the human brain.

  • Intrinsically high dimensional sensors to push the boundaries of our perception etc.

Attendees will include engineers, researchers, business and product leaders who want to build something new. You do not need to have an idea or a clear path to starting something new. Some attendees will be in the process of starting ventures now while others will be many years out from departing their current roles. The only requirement is that someday in the future you have dreams of building something new.

The evening will be a mix of introductions, open discussion, and 1:1 match chats. It will be a highly curated group with the goal of bringing together like-minded people.

Apply to attend. Space is limited.

About the organisers:

Pillar VC invests at inception in companies solving the world's greatest challenges. With a significant track record of investing in over 150 companies, with deep university roots throughout, Pillar has raised over $500 million across 4 funds. Pillar VC’s Encode Fellowship, powered by the UK’s Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA) and Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), brings together the brightest minds in AI with pioneering scientific research across the UK. Over 12 months, Encode Fellows receive salary, compute and the freedom to build - launching new ventures, tools, research organisations and more.

The Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA) is an R&D funding agency created to unlock technological breakthroughs that benefit everyone. Created by an Act of Parliament, and sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology, ARIA funds teams of scientists and engineers to pursue research at the edge of what is scientifically and technologically possible. ARIA’s flagship Activation Partner initiative accelerates this mission, and powers the Encode Fellowship.
