​About Event

​Machine Cinema Women's Monthly Meetup is where the women of our community come together: filmmakers, designers, engineers, founders, artists, producers, and everyone in between who's building at the intersection of AI and creativity.

​This month's featured speaker is Sarah Lynn Dawson on techniques for working with actors: how to get good performances in an AI project.

​AI can generate a face, a voice and a scene. It still can't give you a performance. Sarah works on both sides of that line. A British actress and filmmaker trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, she now creates and produces projects with AI and new technologies. She'll share how she directs actors for AI-driven work, what changes when the pipeline is new, and what doesn't: trust, preparation and a truthful moment.

​What to expect

​Space to connect with other women in AI and creativity. We'll open with introductions, hand over to Sarah for her talk and Q&A, then move into open networking: share what you're working on, ask for what you need, and hear what's on everyone's mind.
