Saturday Scribe | Tulsa
April — Poetry Month
National Poetry Month at Brice’s Coffee Shop · Sponsored by Catalyst Coworking
Saturday Scribe is a weekly creative writing gathering for people who want dedicated time to write, sharpen their craft, and move their work forward in community. Writers of all levels and genres are welcome—film, poetry, prose, theater, and hybrid work.
April is National Poetry Month, and this month we focus on poetry as craft. Each week, we will explore core techniques such as imagery, metaphor, sound, and structure, alongside classic poetic forms. The goal is to strengthen how we use language—whether you write poems, scripts, stories, or essays.
This month, we are gathering at Brice’s Coffee Shop, with support from Catalyst Coworking. We are grateful for their partnership in creating space for writers to show up consistently and do the work.
