Saturday Scribe is a weekly creative writing gathering for people who want dedicated time to write, sharpen their craft, and move their work forward in community. Writers of all levels and genres are welcome—film, poetry, prose, theater, and hybrid work.

. Each week, we will explore core techniques such as imagery, metaphor, sound, and structure, alongside classic poetic forms. The goal is to strengthen how we use language—whether you write poems, scripts, stories, or essays.

This month, we are gathering at Brice’s Coffee Shop, with support from Catalyst Coworking. We are grateful for their partnership in creating space for writers to show up consistently and do the work.

Free drink upgrades for current paid Saturday Scribe members

 to view the weekly prompt ahead of time. You are welcome to write on the prompt or continue working on an existing project. Writing on the prompt is encouraged, but not required.

A pen and paper or notebook. Laptops are welcome. Bring a piece you are working on or come ready to start something new.

10:00–10:15 — Arrivals and grab coffee

11:40–12:00 — Share, announcements, and closing ritual (group photo)

Saturday Scribe is about showing up, writing in real time, and leaving with pages that did not exist before you arrived.
