Hegota Upgrade & Encrypted Mempools

Ethereum’s Hegotá upgrade is taking shape, but several bigger changes to Ethereum’s architecture are still being debated. We’ll explore emerging proposals including decoupled consensus, Delayed State Root (EIP-7862), and Optional Execution Proofs (EIP-8025): what problems they aim to solve, how they could reshape Ethereum’s consensus and execution pipeline, and the trade-offs that remain before they can become part of the protocol.
