Running a Business in Japan: The Legal & Financial Essentials
濱田松本法律事務所,同時期也創辦了 AI 合約審閱公司 LegalForce(現為 LegalOn Technologies)。
A Taiwanese company entering Japan runs into these questions immediately. What legal structure should you use? Which contract terms can you safely sign? When do your tax obligations begin? How can you legally hire employees? Can you transfer customer data collected in Japan back to Taiwan?
These questions have nothing to do with your product. All of them affect your costs and risks in Japan, and some decisions may be difficult or expensive to change later.
Five specialists will help you think through these decisions: two lawyers and a certified tax accountant based in Japan, together with a lawyer and a finance professional with CFO experience based in Taiwan. Two Taiwanese founders will join them. One already runs a company in Japan; the other is currently setting up operations there.
Admission is free. The session runs in English. No interpretation.
