Speaker Bio:

Katie Krupar is the Founder of Startup People Solutions, where she partners with fast-growing startups on people and talent strategy.

She scaled GoFundMe as Global Head of Talent from employee 50 to 900+ globally, growing the function from a team of one into a distributed, international recruiting organization supporting multiple businesses. She led managers and individual contributors across regions and partnered closely with founders and executives to evolve recruiting from a reactive function into a strategic business driver.

Today, Katie works hands-on with founders and leadership teams to design thoughtful workforce plans, build high-impact talent acquisition organizations, and support leaders as they move from execution into true ownership. Her work focuses on leadership development, disciplined hiring, and modern recruiting practices, including the responsible use of AI, without sacrificing candidate experience or employer brand.
