Toronto AI Builders Meetup by Comma Capital x Georgian
Join us for our Toronto AI Builders + Engineers Happy Hour with Comma Capital & Georgian.
We’re excited to bring together folks building in AI in Toronto.
Whether you’re vibe coding, building the next AI dev tool, scaling infra for your company, prompt engineering, tinkering on an early idea, looking for cofounders or exploring something new, come hang out!
We’ve also partnered with some local startups & community groups, including CrashLabs, Hudson Labs, and Toronto LLM Meetup.
About Comma: We’re an early stage preseed fund based in New York run by David Ongchoco and Adarsh Bhatt. Comma runs a community of 1000+ early career operators from high growth startups. Email [email protected] if you’re exploring something new.
About Georgian: Georgian invests in high-growth B2B companies and builds with them via our AI Lab. The AI Lab supports companies across the product development lifecycle through 1-1 engagements, the Transferred Learnings community and AI research. Based in Toronto, Georgian’s team brings together investors with machine learning professionals, software entrepreneurs and experienced operators.
About CrashLabs: CrashLabs does Pre-Production Testing for AI Agents, built by former QA and devs from Cohere and Google. We start with voice, where messy accents, broken APIs, and policy edge cases cause the most painful failures, and soon we will cover every type of agent. We simulate your agent’s worst day to show what works, what breaks, and what needs fixing. Teams use us to harden their systems before launch and earn CrashLabs Certified, the SOC 2 for AI agents.

About Toronto LLM Meetup: The Toronto LLM Meetup group is founded by Suhas Pai, CTO and Co-founder of Hudson Labs, and Lily Ren, Senior PM, B2B AI at Telus. The aim of this group is to facilitate deep dives into LLM research topics, harnessing the skills of Toronto's vibrant AI ecosystem and promoting intellectual rigor. To this end, for each session we assemble a team of top Toronto AI scientists and practitioners to conduct an in-depth study of an emerging topic that is expected to go mainstream 6 months from now.
