Psychological Safety that actually works
Facilitator: Jace Malz, MA : Learning & Development Consultant | Experience Designer | Expert Facilitator
Purpose
To help leaders and founders move beyond theory into daily, embodied practices that create true psychological safety, where people feel safe, seen, and able to speak without fear of exclusion. This workshop redefines psychological safety as something we design for intentionally, not something that “just happens.”
Learning Outcomes
By the end, participants will:
Understand the 3-step framework (Set the Stage, Invite Participation, Respond Productively) and apply it to meetings, feedback, and project launches.
Identify hidden barriers to inclusion (neurotypical bias, unspoken norms, performative safety).
Practice micro-behaviours that build trust, belonging, and accountability.
Leave with a Toolkit for designing psychologically safe conversations and meetings.
