From Confucian academies to European scholar guilds, early universities emerged as self-organized commons to preserve, debate, and extend knowledge. With the Industrial Revolution, many were bent toward the factory’s logic.

As AI rearranges work, higher education can shape what comes next: prototype roles and rules, test funding models, and foster new micro economies.

Imagination of Things is a play studio for art and design. Our work blends design, technology, and storytelling into spaces where people can think, feel, and co-create. We use play as a method to unlock perspective, foster connection, and surface the possible.
