About Event

In-person event

Inspired by the recent Winter Olympics? Passionate about the planet?

The Cambridge University Ski and Snowboard Club (CUSSC), Cambridge Climate Society (CCS) and Cambridge Society for Materials (CSM) are excited to present a design workshop exploring the intersections between sustainability, product design and skiing.

The conversations and ideas shared throughout this workshop will be used to guide the design process of an Engineering Master’s project on the evolution of materials in skis and using Life Cycle Analysis to guide a more sustainable design*. Please feel free to contact Irene (ib491@cam.ac.uk) for any questions about the project!
