About Event

Curious about AI? Want to build a chatbot but don’t know where to start? This hands-on workshop is for you!

Hosted by Latinas in Tech Utah, this event is open to everyone—no matter your background, identity, or experience level. If you’re eager to learn how to integrate AI into a chatbot, we’ll walk you through it step by step!

What you’ll learn:
✅ How AI-powered chatbots work (and why they’re different from static bots)
✅ How to integrate external data (like websites or PDFs) to make your chatbot smarter
✅ How to use OpenAI’s API and LangChain for AI-driven responses
✅ A beginner-friendly intro to Python & Flask for chatbot development

We’ll provide a pre-built HTML/CSS template so you can focus on AI functionality, not design from scratch.

🌎 Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a beginner or already tech-savvy, join us for an engaging session where we’ll learn, build, and connect in a supportive space.

Find us + Parking

Find us downtown. We're in the Crane Building - on Floor 5. It also says Chile-Tepin on the other side of the building. There should be plenty of spaces in the parking lot (behind building).

Don't forget your laptop!
