​Asia leads global auto production through highly integrated supply chains, where automakers compete yet rely on each other’s networks. This session will examine how stronger climate disclosure and supply chain transparency—especially on steel, a key source of emissions and trade risk—can bolster resilience and competitiveness. Investors, automakers, and civil society will share perspectives on disclosure gaps, shifting regulations, and practical steps such as Scope 3 reporting and green steel procurement, aiming to align the sector with global climate goals.
