📅 Sunday, October 5 | 5:30–7:00 PM

As part of San Diego Climate Week, join Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute for an evening exploring how shellfish and seaweed can help restore ocean ecosystems, support sustainable seafood, and fight climate change. 🎤 What’s Happening:
Lightning talks (<8 min) from scientists, students, and industry experts on shellfish, seaweed, restoration, and aquaculture
Special screening of On the Half Shell — a short documentary that takes viewers inside the world of oysters and the people working to protect and restore them in the face of climate change
Seaweed pressing activity — create your own ocean-inspired art from local seaweed to take home
