Cantina x Machine Cinema present AI Election Night
WHAT IS AI ELECTION NIGHT?
It's AI election night in Los Angeles... this is a world-building experiment. Over 3-hours, teams will design an AI character and run them for Mayor of Los Angeles. By the end of the night, we'll vote one into office.
This is a live, hybrid experiment of AI avatars and emergent entertainment formats framed as a playful live-action role-play inside a shared world. Using Cantina Labs' AI Avatar tools, attendees will collaboratively invent characters, build campaign personas, create short campaign videos, and participate in a live, unscripted debate — all culminating in a real-time audience vote to decide who becomes AI Mayor of LA.
This is part workshop, part performance, part social experiment — and very much a glimpse at the bleeding edge of how AI tools are reshaping participation, authorship, and entertainment.
