Proof of Teach: Mindanao Instructors Bootcamp

​Proof of Teach is a deep dive into EVM fundamentals tailored by Ethereum and ETHPH, for instructors across Mindanao. In partnership with Davao Defi Community and PSITE Region 12, we’re gathering representatives from the 25 universities of Mindanao to equip them with the knowledge and tools to teach blockchain development to their students.

​This bootcamp is not just a crash course—it’s a multiplying force. With Ethereum as the base layer, our goal is to seed entire university departments with the capacity to explore, build, and teach how to build and deploy in the world computer.

​This is part of a long-term vision to bridge the academic sector to onchain innovation, turning classrooms into launchpads for builders.

​The Program

​🧠 Part 1: Speedrun Ethereum
Led by a guest instructor from BuidlGuidl, this portion introduces hands-on learning through the Speedrun Ethereum — a battle-tested path for learning to build applications on the EVM using Scaffold-ETH.

​⚙️ Part 2: EVM Fundamentals
Conducted by Tin Erispe Tech Lead of ETHPH, this module breaks down the Ethereum Virtual Machine, consensus mechanism, blockchain data structures, and common smart contract patterns — with a focus on deep understanding of how blockchains work.
