About Event

The internet was built for humans.

But a new kind of user is emerging: AI agents that can browse, transact, create content, make decisions, and interact with digital systems on our behalf.

As this shift accelerates, the web is beginning to split into two realities: one designed for human users, and another increasingly shaped by autonomous AI agents.

This raises urgent questions:

How do we know who — or what — we are interacting with online?

How do we distinguish real humans from bots, agents, and synthetic identities?

And how should trust, identity, and accountability work when AI agents become part of everyday internet activity?

In this Crypto Mondays Barcelona session, we’ll explore the future of the internet through the lens of Web3, digital identity, human verification, and AI agent infrastructure.

Drawing from real-world experience, the discussion will look at how builders can design systems that support both human users and AI agents — while preserving authenticity, privacy, and trust.

We’ll also reference Billions.network as one case study to discuss how Web3 identity and verification can help address the growing trust gap between humans, bots, and AI agents online.

We’ll discuss:

  • Why the internet is changing as AI agents become active participants

  • How the web may work differently for humans and AI agents

  • The role of digital identity and verification in the age of AI

  • How to distinguish humans, bots, and autonomous agents online

  • Why trust and accountability matter for AI agent interactions

  • How Web3 infrastructure can support a more verifiable internet

  • What builders, founders, and communities should prepare for next
