Cake Club X Dreamy Figs: Fire Horse Cakes
Welcome to: cake club - the (as far as we know)- only club where you spend an indulgent two hours decorating and eating cake.
This February, we'll be joined by Bella of @dreamyfigs to get her hottest tips + tricks before decorating our own 4in layered cakes with all the works (see the truly mouthwatering flavor options + colors below).
Prepare to be inspired by themes of Lunar New Year and the year of the Fire Horse❤️🔥 🐎
We’ll then box up our edible artworks and gather around the table to dine on a communal cake by Bella, sip on warm bevvies and befriend strangers.
Each guest will leave with a little more cake-decor know how, their uniquely decorated mini cake, their sweet tooth fully satisfied + hopefully a new friend <3 It will be cozy & creative & fun & communal and we can’t wait to decorate + dine with you.
Choose between decorating:
- vanilla cake, passion yuzu filling + spiced vanilla buttercream (red color)
OR
- brown sugar cake, red bean filling, sesame buttercream (brown color)
Toppings include flowers + metallic pearls
*Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any allergies / dietary restrictions for this one!
!!Please note!! This is NOT a highly technical cake decorating workshop. The beauty of this event is all of the grunt work of baking, sourcing and clean up are done for you— you get to just show up, experiment, create, yap + eat cake! It's precious.
What can I expect from a club at RecCreate?
We design all of our clubs at RecCreate to feel like going over to a friends apartment for a craft hang where they took care of grabbing all the materials and show you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!

Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
