[Side Event] Humanoids Summit - Robotics Meetup
Description
Coinciding with the Humanoids Summit Tokyo 2026, the Tokyo AI (TAI) and Robotics x Tokyo (RxT) communities are hosting an in-person networking meetup and lightning talk session tailored for engineers, researchers, founders, and builders in robotics and artificial intelligence.
This technical gathering provides a collaborative space to discuss recent advancements in humanoid robotics, embedded systems, intelligent agents, and deep tech hardware. Attendees can participate in unstructured technical discussions and short lightning talks showcasing active research, demonstrations, and experimental projects shaping the local and international AI ecosystem.

Ilya Kulyatin is an entrepreneur with work and academic experience in the US, Netherlands, Singapore, UK, and Japan. He holds a BA in Economics, an MA in Finance, and an MSc in Machine Learning. He's a 3x founder, now helping Japan grow the local AI ecosystem through a not-for-profit community, Tokyo AI (TAI), while building an AI-native system integrator and solutions provider, Foundry Labs株式会社.
Tomoya Maehara is a a Tokyo-based Software Engineer and hardware enthusiast, and an Assistant Organizer for Robotics x Tokyo. He leverages his software engineering expertise to build applications that bridge the gap between software, hardware, and traditional industries.
