Maria Cornelius is a product and game development leader focused on helping teams turn strong ideas into successful games.
She was Chief Product Officer at Arrowhead Game Studios, where she spent four years shaping and bringing Helldivers 2 to market, and helping sustain its momentum post-launch.
Before Arrowhead, Maria worked at Spotify, leading cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers. Prior to that, she was at Paradox Interactive, where she led greenlight processes, evaluated game pitches, and developed a strong perspective on what makes projects stand out to publishers and resonate with players.
She started her career running a branding consultancy for startups.
Maria recently left Arrowhead to found The Ledger & the Loom, where she advises and mentors game teams on product, strategy, and positioning, while preparing to launch a small indie studio in Stockholm.
She's now coming to gaminghub for one day only and you'll have the chance to talk with her on an event that will be divided in 2 parts, morning and afternoon sessions:
