For the third edition of the series, we’re hosting a cultural heavyweight: Arūnas Gelūnas.
Currently serving as the Director General of the Lithuanian National Museum of Art, Arūnas is one of the most respected figures in Lithuania’s cultural landscape. His career spans art, academia, and diplomacy - he’s been the Minister of Culture of Lithuania, Ambassador to UNESCO, and a Member of the Lithuanian Parliament. Trained as both an artist and philosopher, he studied at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, later specializing in Japanese painting at Tokyo University of the Arts, and earned a PhD in philosophy.
