Mind Games AI Hackathon + Exclusive Napa Retreat
The BSH × XTrace AI Hackathon Weekend
This is not your regular hackathon. We're bringing live, unsolved business challenges. You build the agent that solves it on XTrace's memory infrastructure, and the buyer is watching from the front row.
Why show up
$5,000 in cash prizes: One winner per track, plus a grand prize (a team can stack both)
An invite-only dinner at Napa Summit House and a full Sunday in Napa Valley for the grand-prize winning team (valued at $10,000+), alongside the top investors and operators
How it works (the timeline)
This runs over a two-week build window.
T-2 weeks, Team Formation Happy Hour at Berkeley Summit House: meet other builders, form teams of 1 to 4, get your API keys and join a 20-minute "build your first memory agent" session. The build window starts then.
T-1 week: submit a one-paragraph concept brief for track fit.
Build window: build with full platform access. Partner office hours ("ask the buyer") and XTrace engineering office hours run throughout. Pre-building is expected.
Saturday, Demo Day at Berkeley Summit House: final sprint, then live demos. Every finalist answers the track's standardized challenge queries live on stage.
Saturday night and Sunday: winners head to Napa for the private dinner and Napa Valley experience.
Team formation
Teams are 1 to 4 people: students, founders, and engineers welcome. Come with a team or form one at the Happy Hour.
