Give to Gain: Women Leading the Future of Spatial Innovation 👩💻
In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Geospatial Engineering Students Association (GESA) at the University of Nairobi in collaboration with Women In Space Kenya, invites you to “Give to Gain: Women Driving Spatial Solutions,” a webinar spotlighting the powerful contributions of women in geospatial science and technology. The session will explore how women are leveraging GIS, remote sensing, spatial analytics, and emerging technologies to design innovative solutions for real-world challenges.
Participants will gain insights into the evolving geospatial landscape, learn about career pathways in the field, and engage in conversations around mentorship, leadership, and the importance of knowledge-sharing in building inclusive STEM communities.
We are honored to host two remarkable women who are powerhouses in the geospatial field, Stella Chelangat Mutai and Dr. Pamela Ochungo, who will share their experiences, perspectives, and lessons from their journeys driving impactful spatial solutions. Their stories and expertise will inspire the next generation of geospatial professionals to contribute, lead, and innovate. 🌍✨
