From Zero to Extension: Build Your Own Agentic Workspace (Hackathon)
What if your dev tools actually fit the way your team works?
Most software is built for the average team. This hackathon is about changing that.
Kick off BostonTech Week early with an evening of building, shipping, and showing off — hosted by Jellyfish and Nimbalyst at Pillar VC. In 90 minutes, you'll plan, build, and deploy your own extension for Nimbalyst, an agentic workspace for building with Claude Code and Codex. Think: a custom git manager, a visual editor, a Jupyter notebook — whatever your team actually needs.
This is malleable software in practice: bespoke tools built by and for the people using them.
The evening looks like:
5:30 PM: Arrive, grab a slice and a drink, network
6:00 PM: Quick intro, training, and Hackathon kickoff
6:15 PM: Build your extension (yes, in 90 minutes–that's the point)
7:45 PM: Show & tell + voting (prize for winning team)
Who this is for: Developers and team leads to VPs and founders. If you're thinking about how AI is reshaping the way engineering teams work, this is an evening worth your time.
What you'll need:
Nimbalyst (free download)

Food, drinks, and good company provided.
