​𝐀𝐩𝐮𝐬 雨燕 是一本诞生于湾区的双语海外流散文学杂志。 我们相信书本是那个我们可以随时回归并称之为“家”的地方。

​𝐀𝐩𝐮𝐬 雨燕 is an independent bilingual literary magazine rooted in diasporic writing, visual art, and the unsettled spaces between languages.

​这一期，我们探讨缠绕与连结。 是在异乡土地上的扎根，也是在多重文化间的呼吸。 那些跨越了语言与距离的共存，会怎样落在纸上。

​This issue begins with a question:

​When symbiosis becomes a condition of survival, how do we speak about it?

​共生 is not simply harmony. It may be attachment, friction, dependence, adaptation. It may be the quiet negotiation between intimacy and distance, between the self and the other, between memory and the present tense.
