​In a city like Dubai where every luxury is available on-demand, convenience has quietly become the default setting. Almost anything is attainable with the tap of a button: a last-minute gift, an urgent nanny, a missing ingredient for dinner, an expert masseuse, or even the laptop charger you forgot at home!

But what do we lose when we remove all friction from our daily lives?

​Join us on January 28th for the pilot edition of Mad About ________ , a multi-dimensional dining experience where one theme is served four ways through food, space, sound & conversation. Part social dinner and part social commentary, each edition is designed in collaboration with local artists, chefs and musicians.

​Mad About Convenience, in partnership with renowned Emirati chef Sahar Al Awadhi, explores how choosing a seamless life affects our relationship with time, effort and craft.
