About Event

This webinar will explore best research practices specifically designed for literature reviews and analysis using SciSpace.

Problem: Generative AI has undeniably transformed how college students learn and conduct research. In higher education, this technological advancement has changed teaching and learning practices, presenting a new challenge for educators, students, and researchers. How can higher education adapt to this technological revolution and ensure that researchers achieve optimal outcomes?

Solution: This webinar will highlight how to use SciSpace to leverage generative AI for research. The webinar will focus on evidence-based research strategies that effectively demonstrate SciSpace. I will demonstrate how SciSpace can be used effectively to strengthen research practices by leveraging its functionality for literature reviews and analyses.

At the beginning of the webinar, participants will learn practical techniques and research practices from various disciplines. Additionally, they will be able to align SciSpace with research objectives.

In this webinar, you will learn the following:

  •  An overview of generative AI models and the importance of using them in academia.

  • How to Use SciSpace effectively for literature review, analysis, and citation management.

  • Developing effective prompts for information retrieval strategies.

All participants will be given the PowerPoint slides at the end of the webinar. In addition, the following e-book, titled 30 AI Tools for Educators, Librarians, and Researchers: Leveraging, AI Tools for Efficiency, will be available.

Audience

Academic Librarians, Researchers, and other information professionals interested in incorporating AI and learning the fundamentals of SciSpace.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will have the ability to:

  1.  Investigate the capabilities of SciSpace.

  2.  Implement innovative strategies to enhance research and analysis practices

  3. Develop effective prompts to elicit optimal outcomes from SciSpace.

Length: 60 minutes; Instructor-led course:
