About the Speaker
Dr. Najah Adreak is an aspiring heart surgeon and clinical researcher with a Master of Science in Surgery from the University of British Columbia.
She began her medical journey at Tripoli University, earning her medical degree before advancing her training in Libya’s Cardiac Surgery Residency Program.
Driven by her passion for excellence, Najah moved to Canada to pursue further education and training.
As the former Trainee Representative for the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance, Najah has made significant contributions to advancing cardiovascular health research and advocacy. She co-leads several key projects within the Alliance, focusing on improving care for underserved women patients.
Since 2020, she has been a co-lead of the Western Committee for the Wear Red Canada campaign, championing awareness of women’s cardiovascular health.
Through her work, Najah continues to advocate for equitable treatment and enhanced care for women in need.
