Avenue x Industry Insiders: Creativity & Capital

​Avenue: A non-profit organization for undergraduate women to find community and resources they need to learn more about venture capital and entrepreneurship.

​Industry Insiders: Bridge design students with real creative careers. Connect with working designers, hear their stories, get insider insights, and attend industry events.

​Avenue is partnering with Industry Insiders (Parsons) to host a conversation at the intersection of creativity and capital, bringing together a partnerships lead/investor and creative founders to unpack what it really looks like to build and fund in the creative space.

​The conversation will feature Gabe Warshaw, founder of Baton, a music collaboration platform that has raised $4.2M to reimagine how artists, producers, and industry professionals share unreleased work, collaborate, and get properly credited and compensated. Gabe also brings a deep creative background as a musician and founder of Brooklyn-based Prince Street Studios.

​Joining him is Robert Kelly, a business development and partnerships leader at Techstars with 8+ years of experience working across venture capital, accelerators, and startups. He is focused on building ecosystems, scaling growth, and connecting founders with the right strategic opportunities.

​Eugene Chang is the founder of Tangible Creative, a multidisciplinary studio specializing in branding, product design, and experiential storytelling. His work focuses on translating digital ideas into physical, interactive experiences, helping brands connect with audiences in more tangible and meaningful ways.

​Together, they’ll share insights on navigating the creative industry, building meaningful partnerships, and what investors actually look for when backing creative ventures.
