This is OSS + Self Hosted — a meetup for the people who'd rather own it than subscribe to it. Every other Monday, we get together to crack open our setups, share what's actually working (and what spectacularly isn't), and help each other build infrastructure that doesn't come with a monthly invoice and a terms-of-service update nobody reads.
Here's how it works: folks bring their stacks. Homelabs, VPS configs, Coolify deployments, Tailscale meshes, self-hosted AI models running on hardware that probably shouldn't be running AI models — all of it. We walk through real setups from real people, ask the dumb questions that turn out not to be dumb at all, and leave with something we can actually go home and spin up.
We cover the full spectrum. Self-hosting your media server? Cool. Running local LLMs on consumer GPUs? Let's talk about it. Replacing five SaaS subscriptions with one Docker compose file and a prayer? That's the content we're here for. Whether you're deep into open-source tooling or you just mass-deleted your cloud accounts last week and need someone to talk you through what comes next — you belong here.
No gatekeeping. No "well actually" energy. Just good people with strong opinions about DNS, a healthy distrust of vendor lock-in, and an honest desire to help each other figure this stuff out.
