A curated working day led by Countercult for artists, engineers, founders and funders building practical collaborations across culture, technology and Berlin’s local economy. Countercult Studios will also be giving free office hour consultations. 20 places. Application required.
The Event
Building across culture, technology and Berlin’s local economy
On 6 October 2026, Countercult brings 20 artists, engineers, founders and funders together in Berlin for a full-day working session. Participants will share active projects, make facilitated introductions and work in small groups to explore practical collaboration across culture, technology and business.
Berlin’s venture-backed startups have a combined value of €169 billion, representing 43% of Germany’s tech ecosystem value, according to the Berlin Tech Ecosystem Report 2025. At the same time, the Clubcommission’s 2026 Club Culture survey found that 61% of surveyed clubs were breaking even in 2025, while 39% were operating at a loss.
These figures describe different parts of the city. Countercult is bringing people from across them into one room to test what useful, lasting work together could look like.

09:30 to 10:00
Arrival, coffee and setup
10:00 to 10:30
Introductions and project matchmaking, based on what people are working on, what they need and what they can contribute
10:30 to 12:30
Co-working and strategy office hours with Countercult Studios. A limited number of 1:1 sessions will be available; requesting one does not guarantee a slot.
12:30 to 14:00
Lunch at a nearby restaurant. Lunch is not included in the ticket.
14:00 to 17:00
Collaborative work sessions on product, open-source practice, data trust and cultural business models
From 17:00
Optional neighbourhood walk and informal stop at an independent local business. Food and drinks are at your own expense.
