​Join us at Cinéum Cannes for a first look at what happens when filmmakers, AI artists and technologists create at the edge of what is possible.

​On Sunday 18 May at 2pm, Big Screen Hack presents a public screening of selected films created by teams of filmmakers, AI artists, engineers and creative technologists working together over an intense 48-hour production sprint.

​These films were made by people experimenting with the next language of cinema - combining story, performance, editing, sound, visual design, generative video, voice, motion tools and AI-native workflows.

​This is not a demo reel. This is not another panel about what AI might do someday.

​It is a cinema screening of work made now, by the people pushing the form forward.

​The event opens with a Future of Filmmaking fireside conversation, exploring how creative technology is changing the way films are imagined, produced and brought to audiences.

​Then the lights go down.

​We’ll screen selected short films from Big Screen Hack and celebrate the filmmakers and technologists who created them in just 48 hours.
