About Event

Climate adaptation is attracting growing attention, but nowhere near the capital required for a world already experiencing more extreme heat, flooding, drought, water stress, and disruption to food, infrastructure, and communities.

For family offices interested in the space, that creates both an investment question and a network problem. Where are the investable opportunities? Which technologies and business models are emerging? How are other families thinking about risk, return, time horizons, and impact? And, perhaps most practically, who else is actually putting money to work?

This private gathering brings together a small group of family office principals who are already investing in climate adaptation or seriously exploring the opportunity.

The session is designed as a peer conversation rather than an investment showcase. The premise is simple: bring capital holders into the same room, compare what they are seeing, share ideas and deal flow, and begin building relationships among families that believe adaptation deserves substantially more investment.

There will be no fund managers raising capital and no entrepreneurs pitching companies. Nobody is selling a product or a fund. Instead, the conversation will focus on what principals themselves are learning as they explore adaptation as an investment theme, where they see compelling opportunities, what is preventing more capital from entering the space, and where greater collaboration between family offices could help.

What to expect

A deliberately small, informal roundtable for family office principals. The conversation will be driven primarily by the people in the room: what they are investing in, what they are looking for, where they have questions, and what they would find valuable from a peer network focused on adaptation.

This is not a pitch session. The emphasis is on candid exchange, shared learning, deal flow, and relationships between capital holders who may otherwise struggle to find one another within the much broader climate finance ecosystem.

Who this is for

This is a curated, application-based gathering specifically for family office principals who are actively investing in climate adaptation or seriously considering doing so. Participants will be asked to confirm that they are principals with assets under management. The session is not intended for fund managers, intermediaries, or entrepreneurs seeking investment.

What you will get out of it

  • A clearer picture of how other family offices are approaching climate adaptation as an investment opportunity

  • Peer perspectives on emerging technologies, businesses, risks, and opportunities

  • An opportunity to exchange relevant ideas and deal flow without a fundraising or pitching dynamic

  • Relationships with other principals interested in moving more private capital into adaptation

  • The beginnings of a peer network that can continue beyond Climate Week
