About Event

Shell and Vim are two essential tools for working efficiently in a Unix-based environment (and both are commonly encountered throughout your CS journey!)

We’ll start with an introduction to the shell, covering basic navigation, file management, and common commands to help you get comfortable working in a terminal.

After that, we’ll move on to an introduction to Vim, where you’ll learn core concepts, essential keybindings, and tips to make editing code and text less intimidating (and more productive).

Beginners welcome!
