Mr Jesus Screening & Community Conversation: Exploring AI, religion, and what it means to be human

​Mr Jesus is a short comedy about a down-on-his-luck actor who wakes up to discover his image has been stolen to make a GenAI Jesus, and now everyone believes he's the second coming. Join us for a special pre-screening of the film, talk back with the Writer and Director Emily Best, and community conversation about manufactured divinity, stolen identity, and reclaiming agency in the age of AI.

​This special screening is presented by (m)otherboard, a tech justice collective nurturing human agency, dignity, and care through experiments in storytelling, gathering, and participatory governance.

​Event takes place in the Sassafras Center (Teal Building) at the People's Solidarity Hub.
