Students@AI Vancouver March
How (not) to cheat with AI in school
join us at Young Guns Studio in Vancouver for an evening of hands-on learning, great people, and a lot of AI curiosity.
this is a free monthly community event for students who want to learn the kinds of 21st-century skills school usually doesn’t teach.
the goal is simple:
make AI feel usable, human, and something you can actually learn with — not just use.
focus for this month
we’re getting practical.
instead of talking about AI in theory, we’re exploring how to actually use it to study better, think deeper, and build real understanding.
how to use AI to clarify ideas — not replace your thinking.
how to use AI to practice — not copy.
how to use AI to accelerate learning — not shortcut it.
we’ll break down:
how to ask better questions
how to turn AI into a study partner
how to use it for essays, research, math, and creative work
and where most students accidentally go wrong
no technical background needed.
in about 3 hours, you’ll walk away with value and tools you can apply immediately in school —
not to “cheat smarter,”
but to learn smarter.
what to expect:
5:00–5:30 food, drinks, and an easy icebreaker
5:45–6:00 intro + community showcase
6:00–7:30 hands-on learning session
7:30–8:00 closing thoughts + wrap-up
no pressure — just people supporting people.
Tickets are 100% free.
just bring your curiosity — and maybe a couple friends who’ve been saying
“i should probably figure out how to use AI properly.”
