About Event

Silicon Valley AI Film Festival — Boston Division brings together filmmakers, AI creators, technology innovators, researchers, startup founders, investors, students, and creative professionals to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping cinema and visual storytelling.

Hosted by Boston International Media Consulting, Inc. (BIMC), and co-hosted by MIT Student Association — Asian Women Development Association (AWDA), and Asian Women Development Plan International (AWDPI), this three-hour program at MIT will examine the intersection of generative AI, filmmaking, creative technology, and entrepreneurship.

The event will feature selected AI-assisted and AI-generated films, discussions with filmmakers and technology professionals, and conversations about the tools, workflows, opportunities, and challenges emerging across the creative industries.

Topics may include:

  • Generative AI and visual storytelling

  • AI filmmaking tools and production workflows

  • Emerging video-generation technologies

  • Human creativity and machine-assisted creation

  • Authorship, intellectual property, and responsible AI

  • Entrepreneurship and innovation in creative technology

  • Cross-cultural storytelling in the AI era

The program is expected to include:

  • Opening remarks

  • Curated AI film showcase

  • Industry panel or roundtable

  • Audience Q&A

  • Creative-technology presentations or demonstrations

  • Networking and community exchange

The Silicon Valley AI Film Festival is an international platform dedicated to the integration of artificial intelligence and filmmaking. Its Boston regional program connects the city’s technology, academic, cultural, and creative communities while encouraging dialogue about the future of AI-powered storytelling. The Boston division has already brought together filmmakers, writers, technology innovators, scholars, cultural leaders, and members of the press.
