TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Day - Introduction to Cryptography Workshop
🔐 Blockchain systems rely on advanced cryptographic mechanisms to ensure privacy, integrity, and security. Understanding these foundations is crucial for developers and researchers aiming to build secure decentralized applications.
As TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, we are pleased to host an Introduction to Cryptography Workshop during Builders Week Istanbul, designed to equip participants with essential cryptographic knowledge for the blockchain era.
📍 Note: This workshop will be held in Turkish.
This one-day comprehensive workshop will offer clear and accessible presentations on the following topics:
Symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques
Digital signatures and their role in blockchain
Cryptographic hash functions and use cases
Zero-Knowledge Proofs for privacy-preserving computation
Threshold signature protocols for distributed trust
Secure Multi-Party Computation (MPC) fundamentals
Post-Quantum Cryptography and future-proof designs
Agenda:
09:00 – 09:20 → Opening
Crypto Fundamentals & Symmetric Encryption
Hash Functions
10:40 – 11:00 → Coffee Break ☕
Asymmetric Encryption & Digital Signatures
Threshold Signatures
12:30 – 14:00 → Lunch Break 🍽️
