Heart of Neon World Premiere Screening @ Victoria Theatre
If you can’t draw a line between mutant camels, music you can see, and the Welsh countryside, you probably haven’t heard of Jeff Minter.
Join us on the Wednesday night of GDC week for the WORLD PREMIERE of Heart of Neon, a new film from documentarian Paul Docherty that chronicles the four-decade career of Jeff Minter, founder of the indie game studio Llamasoft and creator of games including Tempest 2000, Gridrunner, Attack of the Mutant Camels, and Polybius.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Docherty hosted by Digital Eclipse's Chris Kohler, and a networking party in the theater's lobby hosted by title sponsor Commodore, which will feature hands-on classic Llamasoft releases playable on the all new Commodore 64 Ultimate.
And did we mention free popcorn all night??
Thank you to our sponsors Commodore, Atari, and fractional/ for helping bring Jeff's story to San Francisco while all of his biggest fans are in town for GDC.
