The Workshop Builder Kickoff is a hands-on session for Toledo Codes participants, Loft members, founders, creators, technologists, consultants, and local subject matter experts who want to turn their knowledge into a workshop, class, demo, or community learning session.
This is not a lecture about teaching. You will start building your workshop during the session.
By the end of the kickoff, you’ll have:
a clear workshop idea
a specific audience
a practical workshop promise
a rough 60–90 minute agenda
a stronger pitch for your workshop
next steps for joining the Thursday Workshop Builder Lab or preparing for a pilot session at The Loft

The Loft 419 is building a community learning center where local experts can share useful knowledge in a structured, high-quality way. This kickoff is the first step.

A workshop idea, even if it’s messy. A laptop or notebook. An open mind. We’ll help with the structure.
