Let’s go on a (photo)walk with Suzie!
On Sunday, August 17, Suzie is hosting a walk around Prospect. Together, with our favorite cameras in hand (phone for some of us!), we’ll go around the park and snap some sweet sweet shots.
Suzie Maez’s photography work highlights familiarity and strangeness, bridging the two with a fascination for distortion. As such, what’s familiar becomes strange and the strange familiar. She relates the peculiarities of the world around us, its people, and the vibrancy intercepted between the two. Suzie’s portrait photography explores the edges of her subjects, loosening and expanding our focus.
