As a Venture Partner with Portfolia, one of the most active venture platforms in the U.S. built by and for women, she has helped channel capital into dozens of high-growth startups in biotechnology, life sciences, and digital health as well as consumer products driving innovation that transforms human well-being.
Over her distinguished career, Nola has led or co-led investments across more than ten venture funds, guiding numerous startups from early stage through growth, IPO, and acquisition. She has served on multiple public, private, and nonprofit boards, bringing strategic insight and scientific expertise to help scale impactful ventures.
A pioneer in the biotech industry, Nola was the first biotech analyst on Wall Street and part of the founding leadership team of one of the earliest biotechnology companies to go public.
Today, as Managing Director of Science Futures Management Co LLC, she advises investors, boards, and global organizations at the intersection of science, strategy, and society. A visionary voice for women in venture and biotech, she continues to influence the future of health innovation and conscious investing.
