​Variational은 가상화폐, 주식, 외환, 원자재를 하나의 크로스마진 계좌에서 거래할 수 있는 파생상품 플랫폼입니다. 호가창 방식 대신 전문 유동성 공급자 네트워크로부터 확정 호가를 확보해, 모든 시장에서 체결 가능한 가격을 제공합니다.

​Dragonfly, Coinbase Ventures, Bain Capital Crypto, Peak XV(구 Sequoia India/SEA)로부터 5,000만 달러 이상을 유치했습니다. 공동창업자 Lucas Schuermann과 Edward Yu는 시스템 트레이딩 회사를 창업 및 매각한 뒤 가상화폐 업계 최대 규모 OTC 데스크에서 엔지니어링과 퀀트 리서치를 총괄했으며, 팀에는 Google, Meta, Databricks, Virtu, IMC, Jane Street 출신 엔지니어들이 참여하고 있습니다.
