About Event

Workshop Summary

This workshop engages participants in a discussion on practical and accessible approaches for integrating sustainability into artistic and professional practice. Drawing on insights from environmental communication, creative process design, and real-world case studies across visual arts, performance, design, and media, the session will explore how small adjustments in materials, workflow, and creative decisions can significantly reduce environmental impact without compromising artistic expression.

Participants will share about their disciplines and exchange ways in which one can embed climate awareness into their work—whether through low-waste production methods, upcycled materials, immersive installations, or storytelling techniques that inspire behavioural change. The workshop positions creatives as cultural communicators who can translate climate concepts into emotional, visual, and experiential forms that resonate with communities.
