About Event

Join us for an in-depth introduction to how degrowth can be the key to rethinking our growth-obsessed economic system, which currently harms the climate, environment, and people.

During the event, we will explore how degrowth challenges the inherent inequality and injustice of our current economic model. We will discuss how collaboration can pave the way for a more sustainable and just economy within planetary boundaries and the steps we can take to enact change.

No prior knowledge of degrowth is necessary, only an interest in climate change, social justice, and societal change.

After the day’s presentations and discussions, there will be an opportunity to continue the conversation over refreshments.

This event is a prelude to a series of workshops on political ecology and degrowth, organized by Cirka CPH throughout 2026.
